Mark Radcliffe and Julie Fowlis host the 2016 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards - the annual ceremony that celebrates and rewards the very best in folk, roots and acoustic music. Radio 2's Folk Awards is one of the jewels in the network's musical calendar, and is now in its 17th year. Alongside the announcement of the winners by an array of guest presenters, there will also be live performances from new and established artists including Joan Armatrading, The Unthanks and Sam Lee. The event will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2 and will be available to watch online via live stream on the Radio 2 website. It will also be available to watch on the BBC iPlayer and the Red Button service.
