The Orbit archiveThe Orbit is the UK's tallest sculpture, standing at 114.5 metres tall and was installed for the 2012 London Olympics. Providing a breath-taking view of London up to 20 miles into the distance, from the 360 degree observation platforms visitors can admire the London skyline including Canary Wharf, O2, The Gherkin, The Shard, The Walkie Talkie, St Paul's Cathedral, Alexandra Palace and out to Wembley Stadium. Interactive touchscreens using state of the art Gigapixel Technology, spectacular giant mirrors designed by internationally famous artist Anish Kapoor, stairs to the ground with soundscape of found sounds from London, and the spectacular views make of the Orbit an experience not to be missed.
