Zbang Dance Company - Lure Lure Lure/Point 5

Work:: Zbang Dance Company (S0144149028)

Production:: Lure Lure Lure/Point 5 (T0145180856)

Lure Lure Lure 'I had an idyllic childhood, I really did. I remember us going camping as a family, exploring the woods, curling up in sleeping bags, going fishing, all singing together! I heard that song yesterday and remembered. I did have an idyllic childhood...didn't I? ' Passionate characters, delicious dark humour and powerful intrigue all fuse together in Vardimon's deft blend of dance theatre and Tete is driven by strange images - Salome's conflicting desires for the disembodied head, the fleeting moon singing. Dancers Liat Shinar-Ogden and Vardimon portray the contradictions of mind and body in Salome as they dance out their relationships with the Object Man played by Luke Burrough. Point 5 - Five Portraits that each use an eclectic and unusual movement. These unique narratives all reach their conclusion within the 5 minute limitation that Burns has set herself. The intense to the humorous, the dysfunctional to the ludicrous - a strong and honest performance which provokes.
