Without Warning

Without Warning

Work:: Without Warning (S1653373352)

An Evil Cradling, Brian Keenan's compelling account of his four and a half years in captivity, inspires choreographer Lizzie Kew Ross' new work Without Warning and its heart-stopping peepshow depictions of enclosure and cruelty, humour and despair, rage and resistance.

Production:: (T01442950519)

Kew Ross locates her eight performers in the darkly atmospheric tunnels under Waterloo Station to explore how the mind and spirit find ways to claw back some kind of reality and meaning. Fay Patterson's graphic lighting searches out the performers while an original sound score by Natasha Lohan drives the work, creating a claustrophobic sound world of unaccompanied voice, strings and percussion. World Premiere. Running time: 60mins.
Performer David Leahy (percussion)
Performer Natasha Lohan (vocals)
Performer Laura Moody (cello / vocals)
Performer Peter Willcock (baritone)
Performer Sonia Rafferty (dancer)
