The Sugar Beast Circus is an enchanting new project that fuses dance-theatre, circus, and installation. Part burlesque, part natural history museum, it is a highly visual spectacular, set inside a series of miniature circus tents. Inspired by 19th century menagerie shows and influenced by Charles Darwin, Sugar Beast Circus is a dazzling new piece about the survival of the fittest in a contemporary climate, where performers are part animal, part skilled athlete and part gaundy showman - Darwinian theory meets sequined showgirls.
