With re-branding, a highly adept cast, an expanded national tour and a diverse range of choreographers, this young company is initiating a full-throttle attack on dance audiences. In previous years, the company has become well known for its stimulating theatricality and highly emotive works by some of the most exciting and interesting, new and established choreographers alike. These have included Filip Van Huffel, Victoria Fox, Thomas Small and Vanessa Haska. New Art Club tour nationally and internationally with their critically acclaimed shows, such as This Is Modern and The Visible Men. Since 2001, they have been taking the U.K contemporary dance scene by storm, skilfully mixing movement with their unique sense of humour. Described by The Times as ‘the Morecambe and Wise of dance’, their aim is to ensure that audiences and participants entertained by dance.
