Rambert Dance Company - Symphony of Psalms/Detritus/Tree Finger Soup (World Premiere)

Rambert Dance Company

Work:: Rambert Dance Company (S887)

Britain's biggest and most exciting touring dance company who often tour two programmes at a time. Dancing to a mixture of musical styles they provide enormously watchable evenings.
Company Rambert Dance Company

Production:: Symphony of Psalms/Detritus/Tree Finger Soup (World Premiere) (T01049142220)

Symphony of Psalms is a glorious celebration of the human spirit. Lyrical in style, the 16 dancers express a range of emotions from tenderness and hope to suffering and regret. Wayne McGregor's detritus is an extraordinary work that explores the tensions between classical and contemporary movement. The work is made even more amazing by the inclusion of a huge, suspended mechanical 'limb' that 'performs' alongside the dancers. This programme also includes a new work from Rambert dancer and choreographer, Glenn Wilkinson.
