Programme One (promenade performances, with standing room in the stalls) includes Glen Tetley's t.ai chi-inspired Embrace Tiger and Return to Mountain, an atmospheric and compelling display of grace, suppleness and power. Christopher Bruce's Ghost Dances is an eloquent tribute to victims of oppression in South America, accompanied by bewitching Andean folk music; and Four Scenes, Bruce's ravishing evocation of childhood, is danced to a soaring Celtic-influenced score.
