Internationally renowned contemporary dance company Phoenix Dance Theatre present their critically acclaimed mixed programme, Declarations. The bill features four diverse, entertaining dance works. With a live microphone at its heart, Aletta Collins’ Maybe Yes Maybe, Maybe No Maybe blends movement and voices to create a fresh, witty piece of dance, whilst Isira Makuloluwe’s Locked in Vertical sees dancers coil and turn their way through breathtakingly fluid choreography. Inspired by the words of Barack Obama, Warren Adams’ The Audacious One is packed with tense, political intrigue, and the programme is completed by a Phoenix classic from Philip Taylor, the poignant and atmospheric Haunted Passages.
