Music Prokofiev

Production:: (T01059305326)

The second act comprises of the original Peter and the Wolf, while Act 1 serves as a prequel to the classic story, featuring a text by Richard Sparks and music by Erik van der Wurff. The first act is set in a picturesque classroom that opens onot a meadow and centres on a boy and his classmates, each of whom foreshadows a character from Prokofiev's masterpiece. There's the vain and self-involved wolf; the bickering duck and bird; and the cat.
