Lone Twin - Spiral

Lone Twin

Work:: Lone Twin (S1504857489)

Production:: Spiral (T1162340478)

Onto a map of the Barbican, Gregg Whelan and Gary Winters of Lone Twin will draw a spiral, a path cutting through offices, apartments, cafes, schools, museums and theatres. Over the course of a week, Whelan and Winters will attempt to walk the spirals impossible path, following it through walls and under doors. The difficult journey is further challenged by the donation of objects, unrestricted in size or nature, by people encountered on route. Whelan, Winters and the growing snowball of materials, will gradually spiral through the Barbican, finding their journey's end at its geographic centre.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
