Some You Win - a jazz ballet by Gillian Lynne, featuring Irek and Altynai with music by George Gershwin, follows three young men out on the town...but for one of them life takes an unexpected turn. In contrast Darshan Singh Bhuller has created a pas de deux to Talvin Singh's Traveller and Butterfly based on the Indian legend of Sita - allowing the dancers to express all the passion for which they are so famous. William Tuckett's The Unobtrusive Detail commissioned by Irek for his company, sees its London premiere. The programme also features the return of Russian ballerina Natalia Ogneva together with her partner Vladimir Grigoriev who made such a brilliant impression on their London debut last October.
