Imogene Knight and Levant's Dance Theatre - Questions and Dancers: Duck Man/OMG!

Work:: Imogene Knight and Levant's Dance Theatre (S0228940164)

The Choreography for Children Award (CfC) was set up in 2010 by Sadler's Wells, Company of Angels and The Place to support new dance and movement-led work made especially for young audiences. Now, Sadler's Wells presents this year's winners' programme, Questions and Dancers, a double bill performed by graduating students of London Contemporary Dance School. Following each short performance, young people in the audience will be invited to share their feedback and ask the choreographer and dancers questions.

Production:: Questions and Dancers: Duck Man/OMG! (T361914634)

Levantes Dance Theatre's Duck Man tells the tale of a boy with a surprising family history. The audience are invited on a journey to the bed of the ocean in a deep filled bubble bath. Once there, dance, music, animation and a pinch of imagination will help them to travel back to dry land. OMG! by Imogen Knight is inspired by a range of popular children's fiction and is an energetic, funny tale of losing your voice and the hunt to find it again. It will explore how in overcoming obstacles, freedom can be found.
