Hack Ballet - Double Bill: 3x2/Zone

Hack Ballet

Work:: Hack Ballet (S01208321084)

Hack Ballet is a contemporary ballet company that creates thought provoking performances for theatrical and non theatrical spaces. We blend classical ballet and contemporary dance techniques to create athletic, lyrical dance with a focus on social issues. The company's mission is to present a strong aesthetic vision of the world as it is and as it could be - celebrating diversity and equality, tradition and originality.

Production:: Double Bill: 3x2/Zone (T2134497653)

3x2 - In this collection of duets, glimpses of power, lust, intimacy and vulnerability appear and recede as the dancers immerse themselves in the ebbs and flows of partnership. Pairing off, they are confronted by the delicate balance struck by being simultaneously together and alone, negotiating an uneasy truce with the pull of longing and the peril of suffocation. Zone - Focus is interrupted, relationships can be strained. Competition inspires the inhabitants of Zone's cool world to find their inner flow, but their disconnection may push them further away from their goal.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
