Gravity and Levity - Shift

Work:: Gravity and Levity (S0327202160)

Production:: Shift (T01572317167)

Acclaimed aerial dance company, ravity and Levity present Shift, a triple bill of new work lead by Artistic Director Lindsey Butcher and choreographed by Charlotte Vincent, Charles Linehan and Luke Cresswell and teve McNicholas, the co-creators of Stomp. An innovative production in which contemporary dance; aerial circus and live music collide within a sculptural, transformative environment designed by Michele Weaver. Staged amongst an extraordinary kinetic set of steel, wood, sand and gravel, this piece re-defines what and where a dance floor can be - both for the audience and the performers - and offers an alternative perspective on traditional aesthetics in dance and circus. Shift is intimate and eloquent aerial performance which will captivate, intrigue and delight.
