Good Morning Midnight

Good Morning Midnight

Work:: Good Morning Midnight (S0631878864)

Theatre falls in love with dance and jazz in Drew McOnie's world premiere dance piece featuring a completely original score by Tasha Taylor Johnson (TTJ). Drew McOnie, known for his stint on BBC's So You Think You Can Dance, is considered to be the pretender to Matthew Bourne's throne, whilst TTJ is fast becoming the hottest ticket in London's jazz scene with her smooth vocal styling and infectious human rhythms. The two are working together for the first time on Good Morning Midnight, which is inspired by a poem of the same title by Emily Dickinson. The piece is a physical exploration into the sensual psychological corners of the female psyche and allows the dancers to leap from the confines of the chorus line and connect with an audience on a personal and individual level. Come roll in the sheets with two of London's hottest young creative artists as they collaborate on a project that has the stamina to keep you up all night.
