Details

Frozen White is a mixed media performance exploring what would happen if those incarcerated in medical institutions were suddenly able to control a liberating technology. Against a stunning video backdrop dancers emerge from comatose rigidity to a state of utter abandon, shadowed by musical improvisation. Utilising the Soundbeam Ultralight Sensor System the dancers colour and influence the live music and determine its atmosphere. Also in performance: Electronic sound artist Phil Durrant and dancer Sophia Lycouris.
