Details

Reluctant wartime evacuees Johnny and his sister Beattie are to be separated and sent to the country. Tom escapes and is drawn into Kensington Gardens at twilight through magical and sinister worlds of sprites and fairies. Taking the visual world of Arthur Rackham as the starting-point, the audience is drawn close up to the action as choreographed puppets manipulated by dancers switch to become fairies, changing scale and perspective in an extraordinary piece of live theatre.
