Fabulous Beast exploded onto the Irish arts scene in 1997. The company is led by Michael Keegan-Dolan, one of Ireland's most talented, challenging and innovative contemporary artists.

James, Son of James is a story of accidental heroism, hero worship, sadness, love, power, betrayal and revenge, told through dance, song and comedy. James returns home for his father's funeral having been away for eleven years. He is late and misses the burial, but becomes embroiled in the lives of ten characters: the local politician, his wife and their son, the policeman and his wife, a farmer, a doctor, a merchant, his daughter and a young woman from the east. English tour supported by Arts Council England and Culture Ireland. Fabulous Beast is grant aided by the Arts Council of Ireland. Running time 90 mins Age guide - 14+. Contains some strong language and adult themes.
