Triple Bill: Indigo Rose/Ten Duets on a Theme of Rescue/Necessity Again

The 2013-2014 season marks the company's tenth anniversary and also marks a return to Sadler's Wells after a hugely successful first visit last year. The company will be performing three works that illustrate daring athleticism. Opening the programme is Indigo Rose, a dazzling showcase for the Cedar Lake dancers, created by renowned choreographer Jir? Kyli?n. Ten Duets on a Theme of Rescue, by Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite, is a stunning example of a clearly defined vision where nothing is tentative or inefficient. Completing the bill, Necessity, Again by Norwegian Jo Str?mgren is a bold, joyous piece in which fun triumphs, performed to a selection of songs by Charles Aznavour.
