Bonachela Dance Company - Voices

Work:: Bonachela Dance Company (S467831269)

Production:: Voices (T01716172463)

Former Rambert alumnus and Associate Choreographer Rafael Bonachela’s unique approach to choreography has led him to collaborate with filmmakers, rock bands, dance companies and television companies worldwide. The inaugural programme for this his new company is an evening of two contrasting works with the linked theme of the voice, its use, meaning and power. In Voices, six extraordinary dancers explore the walls that surround us, both real and imaginary. The result is sometimes violent, sometimes tender but always innovative. The second piece entitled Set Boundaries is an urgent and stylish work highlighting how the voice can be used as a weapon of power.
