Work:: Birmingham Royal Ballet (S0697032789)

Fancy Free - Sights and sounds to set the pulse racing...It can only by Manhattan, where three thrill-seeking sailors on shore-leave are in search of pretty girls. With a catch score from Leonard Bernstein, Fancy Free is the feel-good ballet that inspired the smash-hit musical On the Town. Western Symphony - The Wild West comes alive in an explosion of sizzling dance. Choreographer George Balanchine gives ballet an all-American zing, with his cowboys and bar-girls dancing flirtatiously in a dusky Western town, to a stirring arrangement of classic folk tunes. The performances will also include Concert Fantasy, a new ballet by David Bintley to music by Tchaikovsky.
