Benji Reid - The Pugilist/Holiday

Benji Reid

Work:: Benji Reid (S0325528347)

Benji Reid, performance, stand-up tragedian and bodypopper.

Production:: The Pugilist/Holiday (T1690402747)

The Pugilist Running time: 30 mins. - follows the path of two men on the same journey. Both are trying to overcome their fears and truly live as free men. Barry is a tired boxer slipping towards retirement but still caught up in the trappings of success. Goffa is his second (his corner man) and his confidante. Through his childlike innocence, Goffa is the only one who sees Barry for who he really is. Join us on our sojourn of truth between the ropes. The Holiday Running time: 15 mins. - Take a holiday for fifteen minutes of movement-based theatre, body-poppin and stuttered poetry. This dark and instinctive proposition on escapism is both funny and harrowing.
