World Premiere. How dangerous is it to stray from the path, and who is it dangerous for? The nurturing family and community of the wolf pack is set against the dangers of the big bad wolf, in a playful world that sways between littered and tidied, wild and domesticated. Barrowland Ballet premi?re their latest production Wolves performed by an intergenerational cast of dance artists including older performers, teenagers and children. Wolves looks at the moral guidance given across generations; from morality tales told throughout history to cautionary tales of the present day. This is the latest in a series of large-scale intergenerational dance theatre productions presented by Barrowland Ballet and follows on from the huge success of The River presented as part of the Commonwealth Games Culture 2014 programme and Bunty and Doris, 2013.
