A Celebration of International Choreography

A Celebration of International Choreography

Work:: A Celebration of International Choreography (S1327420383)

An unprecedented festival of contemporary choreography opens the Season, allowing audiences to see multiple combinations of work. Many of these ballets will be created, at The Royal Ballet's invitation, by a group of internationally acclaimed choreographers. Siobhan Davies well known for her work with Second Stride, Rambert Dance Company and her own ensemble of dancers, will create the opening piece, her first work for the Company. The celebration closes with a new work by Ashley Page, whose sensuous, powerhouse style is already familiar to Royal Ballet audiences from such works as Fearful Symmetries and Cheating, Lying, Stealing. Andrea Quinn, Music Director of The Royal Ballet, conducts.
