West End Eurovision

West End Eurovision

Work:: West End Eurovision (S504417791)

Production:: (T511367784)

Now in its 6th year, the firmly established charity gala - presented by TheatreMAD, one of the charity's producing brands - sees 10 West End shows give over considerable time (and budget) to create a fully costumed and choreographed version of a past Eurovision Song Contest entry. Today the charity takes great pleasure in revealing that this year's opening mix of newcomers and old hands are: Viva Forever, Top Hat, Mamma Mia!, Phantom of the Opera and A Chorus Line. Without doubt the best value night out to be found on the West End's social calendar, in addition to these top acts, venue host cast We Will Rock You, will also make a very special performance, alongside a genuine Eurovision act. In previous years Bucks Fizz, Katrina and the Waves, Scooch and Javine Hylton have added additional Eurovision magic to proceedings.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
