This is a new production of Stan Tracey's suite for Jazz Quartet and Narrator inspired by Dylan Thomas' Under Milk Wood featuring his quartet with Bobby Wellins interwoven with readings of Thomas' classic portrait of a Welsh village by actor Philip Madoc. He breathes fresh life into the characters described in the fine verse and evocative imagery of Dylan Thomas' writing. The firs half features popular jazz standards and promises to be a thoroughly enjoyable evening, not to be missed.
