The Snowman with Live Orchestra

Work:: The Snowman with Live Orchestra (S0411586131)

Production:: (T0214395878)

The Snowman was originally published in 1978 and became one of the world's most popular children's books, selling in excess of 8.5 million copies worldwide and translated into over 15 languages. In 1982, it was adapted into a 26 minute animated film that has since been shown every year on Channel 4 - but this year, you can experience it like never before... As an extra special treat this December, we're bringing the iconic Christmas Classic to the big screen with a LIVE ORCHESTRA! For this very special screening, a 12 member string orchestra from McOpera Strings, conducted by Timothy Burke, will be joined by a Community Choir comprising children from Berwick schools alongside The Maltings' Thursday Singers. In the first half, the choir will sing a medley of Christmas classics before joining the musicians to add their vocal talents to the timeless and iconic Walking in the Air.
