Indeed, the nineteen-twenties and thirties, sometimes referred to as "The Dancing Decades", were a golden time for superb bands (as well as great song-writing). The PDO is perhaps uniquely placed to recreate these sounds, having themselves played regularly for dancing in the West End of London: four years at The Ritz, six at The Savoy and now undertaking their own series of dances at the legendary Café de Paris.
