Inspired by a particular poem within the Bhagavan Gita, the composer and N.Indian Classical musician Baluji Shrivastav has composed a modern interpretation of the Gita. Brimming with sublime aspirations and tenderness, this is a rare coming together of surbahar (bass sitar), kora, South Indian violin, jazz inspired vocals and a leading spoken word artist. Accompanying the audience will be the acclaimed storyteller & poet Gilles Abbott with his newly created response to the original poem and new music.Performer Baluji Shrivastav (bass sitar) / keyboards / vocals).
