A fabulous show that faithfully and respectfully recreates Frank Sinatra's 1962 world tour. In 1962 Frank Sinatra, escaping public and personal issues in the US hastily pulled together a sextet of his favourite players for a tour of world capitals in aid of Children's Charities. Paul Holgate has the voice and the look of Sinatra and uses them to good effect to recreate Sinatra's visit to the Lido in Paris performing exquisite arrangements by Neal Hefti from the American songbook standards. Songs such as Goody Goody, Without a Song, I've got you under my skin, April in Paris and Night and Day. Long before My Way and New York New York these arrangements are very different to the big band arrangements that are so well known, loved and used in the West End 'tribute' circuit. They feature piano, guitar, vibes, percussion, saxophone and flute to form a full harmonic sound but without the horn section.
