Roger was the very first man to play the adult ?Simba' in Walt Disney West End production of The Lion King. He went on to play Marvin Gaye in the West End show Dancing in the Streets and other leading roles. In 2012 Andrew Lloyd Webber went on the quest on national TV to find the man to play Jesus in his Arena tour and Roger landed third place.
