From Bernstein to Verdi and Tchaikovsky, BBC Cymru Wales and the City and County of Swansea are giving the people of Wales the opportunity to be a part of the UK-wide celebrations of the Last Night of the Proms, portraying stories and fairytales in the form of music. Swansea joins the world-famous festivities in London's Royal Albert Hall and other parks and venues across the UK via television link-up for the traditional Last Night Celebrations. All are invited to join the largest ever operatic chorus to sing the Bridal Chorus from Wagner's Lohengrin and the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic You'll Never Walk Alone. As ever, crowds are welcome to bring picnics and flags to this popular family occasion to enjoy the music and fireworks.
