Semi-staged; sung in Italian. Since its inception, opera at Glyndebourne has been almost synonymous with Mozart, The Marriage of Figaro being the first work to be performed there, in May 1934. Servants outwit their master again in this latest production, new for 2012, which confirms a recent preference for period instruments. There will be one interval. Finish time approx. 22:20
