Jac van Steen and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales launch the Proms cycle of Tchaikovsky symphonies with the baleful fanfare of the Fourth. Celebrating his 60th birthday this year, Raphael Wallfisch is the soloist in the BBC Proms premiere of Granville Bantock's Sapphic Poem, launching our focus on the composer this summer.
