Formally the Electra String Quartet. The Phoenix String Quartet are a classically trained quartet who can turn their bows to anything from Vivaldi to Bohemian Rhapsody! Their interpretations of modern day classics and willingness to experiment and push the boundaries of string music have earned them huge respect. A Phoenix Strings performance is just as likely to feature versions of The Stranglers as it is Handel, with anything from Cole Porter to The Beatles thrown in.
