BBC Proms Chamber Music Concert The Song of Songs, whose erotic imagery set the tone of the BBC Symphony Chorus's choral matinee (Prom 30), now lends its sensuality to a lunchtime immersion in Renaissance polyphony with the Gramophone Award-winning young British vocal ensemble Stile Antico. These conductorless singers have won praise for their performances and recordings of English Tudor and Elizabethan repertoire. This lunchtime's programme range from the clarity of Clemens non Papa to the rich textures of Victoria, and from the fervour of Gombert to the vigour of Praetorius.
