Details

'Deep-in-the-backwoods country, and Weimar-Republic style cabaret..sultry rhythm crawls around the room like a lurching drunk' Guardian Paul The Girl launches her self-released debut album Electro-Magnetic Blues featuring eleven rock-cabaret-sex-horror songs by the classically trained Northern waif and her band. Described by the critics as a warped hybrid of Nick Cave and Noel Coward, with the voice and look of a fairy child. Michael J. Sheehy, plays a special solo set, with more darkly humourous tales of drinking and everyday romantic tragedy. Time Out's Garry Mullholland will be on the decks providing a suitable musical interlude.
