Max Romeo and The Charmax Players - Mind Your Head 2003 - Exploring New Meanings in Sacred Music

Max Romeo and The Charmax Players

Work:: Max Romeo and The Charmax Players (S900361395)

Production:: Mind Your Head 2003 - Exploring New Meanings in Sacred Music (T2052975992)

Since embracing Rastafarianism, following his first UK hit, (the highly suggestive Wet Dream which reached the Top 10 despite a total radio ban), reggae star Max Romeo’s music has powerfully conveyed his beliefs and philosophy. Recordings such as Let The Power Fall, The Coming of Jah and War Ina Babylon have a musical fire to match his apocalyptic vision and contrasting humour. He performs with the Charmax Players on Sunday 12 October 2003. Fusing dub, reggae and electronica, Dreadzone are special guests for the night.

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
