Julie Jepson - Personal Triumph

Work:: Julie Jepson (S259612571)

On the last day of August 2011, Julie and her Kawasaki Zephyr motorcycle collided with a gold open top Mercedes, complete with dog in the passenger seat. Dazed and broken, she had the dilemma of whether to give up biking altogether or to continue on the bike of her dreams... a Triumph. No dog was harmed in the making of this decision. Julie explores the theme of chasing the Silver Dream Machine, how we measure our Personal Pleasure Rating (PPR), and takes a lighthearted look at the triumphs and challenges of day to day life. Cheeky Northern comedian Julie Jepson burst onto the comedy circuit in 2005 when she reached the ?nal of the Funny Women Comedy Awards on only her third gig. Since then, ?Our Julie' has become a sought after compere, stand-up comic and corporate host. Julie regularly performs in comedy clubs and theatres up and down the country, in Europe and at Festivals, at corporate and private events. A professionally trained actress, she has worked in television, theatre, voiceovers and radio. Julie is a regular contributor to Gaydio 88.4 FM and can be heard every Tuesday morning on the BBC Radio Manchester Breakfast Show. Julie Jepson runs the popular monthly comedy club Funnyhaha, on the second Wednesday of each month Upstairs at The Caroline of Brunswick, Brighton.
