Idina Menzel is best known for originating the role of Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway. She subsequently reprised the role in the in the original West End cast. Idina made her debut Broadway performance as Maureen, in the musical Rent. She is also known for her television work, particularly her recurring guest starring role on Glee, in which she played Rachel Berry's mum and the coach of rival Glee club Vocal Adrenaline.

Idina will perform her acclaimed symphony concert for the first time outside of the US accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra under the baton of the legendary Broadway composer Marvin Hamlisch. Best known for creating the role of Elphaba in the hit musical Wicked both on Broadway and in London, Idina recently appeared in Glee as the coach of rival group Vocal Adrenaline and now arrives in the UK following a sell-out US tour. Backed by a 60 piece orchestra, Idina will perform a diverse repertoire of musical theatre and classic pop favourites for her legions of British fans.
