The Guildhall School launches its orchestral season on Friday 24 September with Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale featuring the Director of Drama Christian Burgess in the role of narrator. The role of The Soldier will be performed by Fred Lancaster and The Devil by Patrick Osborne – both acting graduates from 2010. The 2009 Gold Medal winner baritone Gary Griffiths is the soloist in William Walton’s powerful oratorio Belshazzar’s Feast.
