DJ and BBC Radio host. One of the original godfathers of UK garage DJ Spoony, recently embarked on a new live venture called Garage Classical, working alongside acclaimed composer and conductor Katie Chatburn and the esteemed Ignition Orchestra. Garage Classical has in turn become a force within the live and orchestra world's with a string of high profile performances in some of the UK's most iconic venues, including sold-out show at the Hall in 2019. Each show saw the original Dreem Teem member curate and craft classic tracks bringing out special guests including Ms Dynamite, Mike Skinner, Craig David, Paloma Faith, Emeli Sande, The Sugababes alongside a roll-call of the 'who's who' of Garage Royalty including the likes of So Solid Crew, Heartless Crew, Kele Le Roc, Elisabeth Troy, DJ Pied Piper and Master Of Ceremonies plus many, many more. Spoony and Garage Classical continue to document the genre in the most dynamic and original way, returning to the Hall to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of UK Garage Music. Expect a roll-call of the biggest names from the scene, plus new versions of classic recordings, an updated set list and super surprise special guests.
