David Gest Is Not Dead But Alive With Soul

David Gest Is Not Dead But Alive With Soul

Work:: David Gest Is Not Dead But Alive With Soul (S323406815)

In the weeks before his death David Gest had been busy organising a spectacular soul tour of the UK, featuring performances from music legends Russell Thompkins Jr, Deniece Williams, Peabo Bryson, The Tymes, Freda Payne, Melba Moore, Anita Ward and Fern Kinney. David's close friend Freda Payne will be taking over the role of compere for the show. Freda is probably best known for her 1970 best selling single Band of Gold. The show will now feature musical tributes to David. Following the sad news of the death of Billy Paul, who passed away at his home in Blackwood, New Jersey, on Sunday 24th March 2016 at the age of 81, there are plans to remember him as well with a special performance.
