A Concert to celebrate 450 years since the School was founded by King Edward VI in the City of London and the signing of the Royal Charter. 450 years on, Christ's Hospital still fulfils its original mission to provide boarding education for deserving children. Sir Colin Davis (principal conductor of the LSO) and former pupil (Old Blue) of Christ's Hospital will join over 400 talented young musicians from Christ's Hospital and guest artists connected with the School to perform a musical extravaganza to mark this historic occasion. The Concert will show the diversity and depth of musical emphasis at the School.
