Big Country was formed in 1981 by guitar playing founder members Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson, who both originated from the band's hometown, Dunfermline in Scotland. They were then joined by drummer Mark Brzezicki and bass player Tony Butler who completed the award-winning band.

Regarded by many as a classic, the multi-million selling album Steeltown went straight to the number one slot in the album charts when it was released in 1984, produced by Steve Lillywhite. The band will perform songs from the album as well as their classic hits and live favourites such as Fields of Fire, Chance, Where The Rose Is Sown, Wonderland, Look Away and many more taken from their eight other studio albums which include The Seer, Peace In Our Time and the triple Grammy-nominated The Crossing.
