Renowned Scottish Fiddler Alasdair Fraser formed the band Skyedance with top musicians in the diverse genres of Celtic, Baroque and Medieval music, many of whom played on his trail-blazing Dawn Dance album. Virtuosity meets vision as the six members unite their considerable creative spirits in original compositions which erase the boundaries between traditional Celtic and contemporary music. From rampaging reels to haunting airs, Skyedance presents music for both revelling and reflection.

Their respective backgrounds in traditional Scottish/Irish music, jazz and folk create a unique and inspiring sound.
