150th Anniversary Concert

150th Anniversary Concert

Work:: 150th Anniversary Concert (S278145859)

To mark the occasion, David Arnold (James Bond films, Independence Day, Sherlock) turns his compositional genius to create a musical history of the Hall. The ten movements of this epic new work, A Circle of Sound, give a snapshot of the Hall's unique history. Brought to life on the big screen by creative agency People (produced the show and visuals for the 2019 Special Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies) and film production house White Stone Media, each movement takes us on a sonic journey through our incredible 150 years.

Production:: (T0894841656)

Some very special guests will be joining David on stage to read introductions for each movement written by British writers including Neil Gaiman, Jack Thorne, Joe Penhall and Laura Wade. In a demonstration of the importance of our community after this year of turmoil, local choirs and schools, who, along with other community groups, have played their part in the composition of this amazing piece, will also take to the stage. Supported by our very own Albert's Orchestra and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.
