What Makes Us Laugh?

What Makes Us Laugh?

Work:: What Makes Us Laugh? (S1134299232)

Production:: (T1240709345)

Join three of Britain’s finest comedians for a night of comedy in support of the 2009 British Science Festival. What makes us laugh? Opening the show author, comedian and futurologist Mark Stevenson ("an unashamedly intelligent comedic talent" - Irish Independent) sets out to answer that very question with a bizarre mix of psychology and stand-up. Then sit back and enjoy the twin delights of Andrew O’Neill, ("one of the emerging barometers of hilarity" - Time Out) followed by Robin Ince (The News Quiz, Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks). Winner of the Time Out ‘Outstanding Achievement in Comedy’ award, Robin is one of the few comedians who can convincingly talk about the behaviour of Bonobos, 15th century astronomy, the structure of DNA while making you double up with mirth. Even The Daily Telegraph said he was "snortingly funny".
