Deliciously un-pc, sketch highlights include "Kung Fu Asylum Seeker". Up the Empire! is a new company formed in early 2007 by Jonathan Winfield and co writer Farah Dhanani to challenge the current trends in cynical and catchphrase comedy. Following Jonathan's redundancy from the BBC in 2006 he took the initiative to pursue his occasional writing ad directing of Up the Empire! comedy shows in his local Putney Arts Theatre between 2001-2005 ad turn them into a national brand.
